  • Hi Jill, this is a wonderful album... all the wild flowers are great. I have spent years on my mountain learning to identify the native wild flowers, and herbs. I cant wait till spring, its just around the corner> I hope to do a new album, Arkansas Wild Flowers Spring to Fall. Also I am looking forward to adding to Flowers and their Beautiful Array. Nature has so many beautiful things to capture and share with others. Thanks for sharing these wonderful photographs! Iron Sharpens Iron...Carolyn

  • Hi ya Jill, what a beautiful feature to live near, these woods are just so lush and photogenic. I love the tree shots, strange tree is fantastic, I love the character that each tree posses and capturing through the lens makes us appreciate their uniqueness even more. I also loved your garden features as well like the Magnolia tree and the arum lily's! All beautiful. Many thanks for sharing and also for taking the time to visit and leave a comment in my featured album a couple days ago, greatly appreciate that. Take care and wishing you all the best, amy

  • Hello Jill and I cant think why I have never seen this album of yours before. Too rapt in those gorgeous Lake District photos I guess! Some lovely photos here and you have some gorgeous flowers in your garden. We have one or two of those but generally speaking ours have to be so hardy to withstand the scorching heat and the dry, sandy soil. Yours have to withstand heavy clay soil and soaking rains so have to be equally as hardy. Somewhere among my albums you'll find one of our garden which will give you an idea of the type of plants we can grow. Glad you liked the Journey album, and these will be giving you a good idea of what the REAL Australia is like. The Great Dividing Range runs for many thousands of kilometres down the eastern side of the country and can be very spectacular. It covers the tropical north, the temperate midle and the cold and snowy south. It is possible to walk to the top of Mt Kosciusko (our tallest) which is 7,300 feet (give or take a few) above sea level. We have done it part way but cheated for the first 3000 feet by taking the chairlift!! Tomorrow week we go away on holiday down south for a couple of weeks so I'll be out of circulation. Should manage the odd few photos no doubt!! Take care and roll on your Spring. Peter

  • Congratulations on your feature today, nice to see more from UK being featured. However only had a quick look so far but my favorite is no 20 in this album "strange tree" now that is my sort of tree, always on the look out for those.
