I just love this album! What a great last picture (the end). Yes we had a retirement party here. My friend retired after 40 years of teaching "special education". You have so many great photos and albums. Strwberries, anomones, and Some things... are among my favorites. Spinf is slow here in Montreal, Quebec, but my garden is doing well. Best wishes to you. Hi Galit, I can't keep away. Every visit is special. I think you had good fun doing this one. Lovely roses. (light behind petals in 23,& 29, beautiful.) and 16, like a bowl of clotted cream....And that cat! What a star! I wanted to put words into it's mouth. 3)I won't pose, so there! 11)where's that nice smell coming from? 15)I'll turn my back on you, take that... 20)You can't see me now, I'm hiding...and 28)I'm off!....forgive me, I'm getting carried away here. (The last frame in the album...a masterpiece) You say cat's are hard to photograph, Well, you have done wonders, each one better than the one before. The only safe time to 'take' a cat, is when it's asleep..But if you dare to try to catch them when they are awake, you get much funnier photos. Thankyou for being the first person to write in my new album's guestbook.That makes you special. glad you liked my birthday clematis, it's starting to grow now.And 'Summer wine' is such a lovely colour, isn't it? Galit, Thank You for the message in my guestbook. I enjoy photographing animals....mostly cats because I have a large family of cats(9 to be exact)! Most of my photos are taken with a Nikon SLR, but I recently aquired a Sony Didgital. I find it takes a lot of patience to capture a cat. Most improtant is to get them when they are very relaxed. Usually just after they awake from a nap or have just finished a large meal so they are feeling lazy. Getting down to their level also helps. Try waiting until they are up on a window sill or perhaps a garden bench. That way you don't have to get down on the ground to be level with them. I am impressed with your flowers. The fine detail is beautiful. I also like the one that is backlit. I'll check back with your albums often...I enjoyed the wedding. Beautiful couple I wish them the best of future together. P.J.
