A fascinating collection of minerals. I too am drawn to the beauties found in rocks! Their formations are so diverse, their colors varied and often brilliant, and their textures and patterns so beautiful! Thanks, Darlene

Bonsoir Roger, with pleasure, I noticed the latest additions to what is the proof that "Minerals" include an extremely large variety of objects of very different origin and of course color and bearing. Apparently, you were strolling through a "rich" museum! - Thank you for your kind comment of Nov. 11 on my fossil wood from Madagascar. - Best wishes (Kaethi and) Henri

I guess I should have known from your "name" that you were into rocks/stones/minerals...! This album has some gorgeous specimans! I wonder if you could tell what you think some of the stones I have are (http://community.webshots.com/album/553248808AQApqa?vhost=community&action=refreshPhotos&albumID=553248808&security=AQApqa) - the last 5 pictures I took to see if someone could identify them for me as they were a gift and I don't know what they are. Thanks, Teri

Hi Roger! I am delighted with these additions - the 25 new jewels are one more beautiful than the other!!! Fortunately, there are (too rare) mineral lovers as you amongst the Webshots friends - otherwise one suffocates with flowers of all kinds (though there are worse deaths...!). Thank you for this super-pleasure. With all best wishes (Kaethi and) Henri

Dear Roger:We just follow the two not unknown people above - but I like so much to see again this wonderful world. I may add "a confidence": I decided when I was 12 to become a geologist - and why: because I was in love of stones...! - Thank you for your GE of yesterday - are always happy to find an echo! - With all our good wishes: Käthi and Henri

Hi Roger: of course, I had to see the good dozen additions to your album! Beautiful specimens! I think they begin to occupy quite a big space in your home?! As it is our case... - Thank you for your kind comments in our "Brittany Coast" album. No samples taken home - but the view of all these fantastic granites was a special pleasure. - With all good wishes: (Kaethi and) Henri

Hi Roger...I like looking at your rocks and minerals albums. Love your opal! ANd, so many more. Have you ever seen fire opal from Mexico...it is bright red-orange and is not treated or fired or touched in any way...comes right from the mine like that. Thanks for sharing. warm regards, Barbara
